    Stewart E. Stahl Jr., 79, Somerset, passed on Nov. 19, 2006, at Rest Assured Living in
  Southampton Township. Born Feb. 19, 1927, in Somerset Township, the son of the late
  Stewart E. and Edna (Pritts) Stahl. Preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Anna
  Mae Stahl; second wife, Betty Stahl; and brothers, Elwood and Donnie Stahl. Survived by
  his daughters Darlene Warner and her husband, Wayne of Meyersdale, Susan Hites and her
  husband, Chuck, Mercer, and Marian Smith, and her husband, Kenneth, Hollsopple; son,
  Donald Stahl of Northwest Calabas, N.C.; grandchildren, Kellie Haer and her husband
  Steven, Chris Warner, and Eric Warner and his wife Angie; great-grandchildren, Steven and
  Amber Haer and Angelin Warner; sisters, Dolores Friedline of Friedens and Helen Mostoller
  of Somerset; and brother, Leonard Stahl of Miami, Fla. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army
  in World War II and a member of the Bricklayers Union Local 9. He was a regular attendee
  at the Somerset Senior Center. He had a classic Corvette which he took to auto shows and
  loved to fly small airplanes. He was a member of the Roof Garden Christian Church in
  Somerset. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral
  Home, Somerset, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Roy Worsham
  officiating. Interment at Weller Cemetery. Graveside Military Rites accorded by the
  Somerset County Honor Guard.
