    Susan Margaret Stahl, 96, Berlin, died Dec. 1, 2007, at Meadow View Nursing Center.
  Born July 19, 1911, in Brothersvalley Township, the daughter of the late Harry and Darl
  (Fisher) Shumaker. Also preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Stahl; a brother, Robert
  Shumaker Sr. and sisters, Mary Jane Bethel, Nora Suder and Ruth Foust. Survived by a
  daughter, Mrs. George (Alice) Gary, Somerset; grandchildren, Brian L. Gary, Berlin and
  Kristen S. Miller, Altoona; and great-grandchildren, Colin and Benjamin Gary and Abigail
  Miller. A member of the Somerset Church of the Brethren. Friends received from 2 to 4 and
  7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where service will be held at
  11 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Mark Bendes officiating. Interment in Weller Cemetery.
