  GEORGE W. STAIR
  
    George W. Stair, 72, of Hyndman RD 1, died November 3, 1983 at
  Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
    He was born in Stringtown April 27, 1911, and was a son of the late
  John W. Stair and Ella Blanche (Kinton) Stair.
    He was a retired farmer.  He was a member of Hyndman Grange 1954,
  the Hyndman Senior Citizens and Cooks Mills United Methodist Church.
    He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Avalene (Mangus) Stair; three
  sons, Harold R. Stair, Bedford; Paul W. Stair, Hyndman RD 1; Carlton
  L. Stair, Mason, Ohio; one brother, Allen Stair, Brunswick, Md.; two
  sisters, Mrs. Armenta Lowery, Hyndman RD 1; Mrs. Frances Rizer,
  Hyndman; five grandsons and three great-granddaughters.
    Friends were received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, where
  services were conducted at the funeral home by the Rev. Loyal W.
  Kelso.  Interment was in Hyndman Cemetery.
