  ELIZABETH STAIRS
  
    Elizabeth Colburn Stairs, 93, of Confluence, died May 24, 1977 in
  Somerset Community Hospital.
    Born Nov. 18, 1883 in Somerset County, she was a daughter of the
  late James and Mary Ellen (Kregar) Colburn.  She was preceded in
  death by her husband, Raleigh and a son, James.
    She is survived by these children:  Mrs. Clifford Groff of
  Clairton; Mrs. Merle Stahl of Pittsburgh; and John of Keystone, Fla.;
  13 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren and five great-great
  grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence,
  where funeral services were held Friday with the Rev. Olaf N. Carlsen
  officiating.  Interment, Jersey Cemetery.
