   Alice (Burkholder) Standridge, 79, Oak Hill Drive, Friedens, died March 11, 2008, at
  Somerset Hospital. Born Dec. 5, 1928, in Lonaconing, Md., daughter of George W. and
  Elizabeth Sarah (Blubaugh) Burkholder. Preceded in death by parents; two infant brothers;
  husband, Ozias; infant daughter, Donna Lynn; grandson, Dalton James Gindlesperger;
  sisters, Ineta Miller-Charlesworth, Mary Ladue and Lena Kerlin; and brother, James
  Raymond Burkholder. Survived by daughters, Janice D. Dearaway, Front Royal, Va.; Terrie
  Ann Gindlesperger, Jenners; and Christine R., married to Henry Egal II, with whom Alice
  resided; grandchildren, Amanda, Michael, Kristopher, Melissa Ann, Mandy Lee, Michelle
  Dawn, Maguire, Quinn and Liam; and great-grandchildren, Nadine, Donovan, Connor,
  Natalie Shea, Talon, Phynix, Joliet, Jonathan, Delani, Anthony and Jakob. Sister of
  Melvia Guertin, Florida; Edna Hutzel, Tennessee; Betty Gilbert, Boswell; Ruth Stevens,
  Hollsopple; and Dorothy Walat, Boswell. Member of Terrace Lanes Thursday Night Ladies
  bowling league. A 1947 graduate of former Boswell High School. Retired garment worker and
  member of "Unite Here" formerly the ILGWU. Viewing from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at
  Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Main Street, Boswell, where a service will be
  held at 11 a.m. Friday, the Rev. Larry C. Hoover officiating. Interment Jenner Crossroads
  Cemetery. Memorials to American Lung Association, 3001 Old Gettysburg Road, Camp Hill, PA
  17001, would be appreciated.
