  STANTON
  
    Howard Q. Stanton and Betty J. Stanton died Dec. 20, 1999 at their
  York County home.  They were married for 51 years.  A graveside
  service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 26, at Horner
  Church in Stoystown with the Rev. Kathy Kuehl officiating.  Mrs.
  Stanton was born Jan. 6, 1924 in York County.  She was the daughter
  of the late Horace and Mamie (Mitzel) Smith.  She was a graduate of
  York Hospital School of Nursing.  Mr. Stanton was born Oct. 22, 1927
  in York County.  He was the son of Mary (Buser) Stanton and the late
  Marcellus Stanton, York County and the grandson of John and Jenny
  Stanton of the Johnston area.  He was retired from Caterpillar.  Mr.
  and Mrs. Stanton are survived by a son, Christopher, L. Stanton; two
  daughters, Cathy L. Stanton and Tilleda A. Stanton; four
  grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
