STARK Mrs. Mary Margaret (Griffith) Stark died at 1 o'clock Wednesday morning, Jan. 15, 1941, at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Orville Stark, 61 Lemon St., Uniontown, Pa., at the age of 84 years. She was united in marriage to John Stark, and to this union 12 children were born; namely, William and Mabel, who died several years ago; Russell, Fort Hill; Calvin, Oakland, Md.; Lloyd, Westernport, Md.; Charles, Hopwood; Orville, Uniontown; Frank, Confluence; Paul, Brownfield; Mrs. Anna Snoddy, Uniontown; Mrs. Myrtle Long, Bloomsburg, and Mrs. Ethel Smoot of Akron, Ohio. She leaves one sister, Mrs. Fanny Cunningham, and two brothers, William R. Griffith of Pittsburgh, and D. A. Griffith of Uniontown. She also leaves 17 grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren. She was a native of Addison and went to Uniontown only five days ago to make her home with her daughter, Mrs. William F. Snoddy. She was a member of the Christian church. Short prayer service was held at 2 o'clock at the Snoddy home by Rev. Leroy F. Carter, pastor of the Central Christian Church of Uniontown. Additional rites were held in the Methodist Episcopal Church in Addison on Saturday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Pallbearers were N. A. Wright, Joe N. Wright, Frank C. Wright, Mearl G. Shope, Edward Whetsell and Lester Nicklow. Mrs. Irene Griffith Oglevee, Mrs. Stark's niece, sang. Interment was in the Addison cemetery on the family lot beside her husband.
