  ANNE START
  
    Anne (Wersta) Start, 79, of Silver Spring, Md., formerly of
  Boswell, died Nov. 25, 1997, at home.  Born Aug. 8, 1918, in Boswell,
  daughter of Peter and Pauline (Kovacs) Wersta.  Preceded in death by
  parents; husband, Joseph Jr., Jan. 7, 1972, and brother, Anthony. 
  Survived by daughters: JoAnne, wife of Edward Kratovil, Gainesville,
  Va., and Patricia Tuegel, Rockville, Md.; also four grandchildren:
  Edward and Kenneth Kratovil and Philip and Christina Tuegel.  Sister
  of Peter, married to Ann Pivarnick, Chicago, Ill.  Member of Our Lady
  of Grace Catholic Church, Silver Spring, and First Catholic Slovak
  Ladies Association.  Employed at the former Dorfman and Hoffman
  Garment Factory, Boswell, for several years.  Friends received from 2
  to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street,
  Boswell, where Wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday.  Mass of
  Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Saturday at All Saints Catholic Church,
  Boswell, (formerly St. Stanislaus Church), Rev. Father Blase
  Wegierski, OFM. Conv., celebrant.  Interment, Mt. Carmel Cemetery,
  Jenner Township.
