Born July 11, 1920, in Jerome, son of Joseph and Vincenta (Streleckis) Start Sr. Preceded in death by parents and three brothers: Charles, Edward and Joseph Jr. Survived by widow, the former Josephine Lukich; and two sisters: Miss Edna, Wadsworth, Ohio; and Mrs. Cora Slobozien, Johnstown. Member of the Jerome Nest 556 Polish Falcons of America and the Toms River VFW. Retired mechanic for Good Humor Inc., Detroit, Mich. Army veteran of World War II. Friends will be received from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday at Hoffman Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny St., Boswell, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Alfred Evanoski O.F.M.
