  STARTZEL 
  
  Walter Leroy Startzel Sr., 87, 51 West Center St., Elysburg, Pa.,
  died June 21, 1987, at his residence.  Born May 24, 1900, in Ralpho
  Twp., son of the late Ammon J. Startzel and Anna Goss Startzel. 
  Survived by daughter, Mrs. Anna Wardrop of Reading, Pa.; son, the
  Rev. Walter L. Startzel Jr. of Stovertown Road; three grandchildren;
  three great-grandchildren; brother, Lloyd Startzel of Tharptown; two
  sisters, Mrs. Mae Campbell of Sunbury and Mrs. Hazel Anderson of
  Shamokin RD 2.  Preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy
  Leisenring, 1940; and his second wife, Marguerite Jane Edmunds, who
  died in 1983.  Friends received 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Farrow
  Funeral Home in Shamokin.  Service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m.
  at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Elysburg.  Interment, Blue Church
  Cemetery.
