Staub, 67, who retired two years ago as general foreman for the Pennsylvania Electric Company in Somerset, after 27 years in that position, died at 3:15 a.m. last Sunday, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John C. Seip, at Wiconisco, near Harrisburg. His death occurred during a visit in connection with his birthday anniversary on Monday of last week. Mr. Staub's home was at 318 South Franklin St., Somerset. He was born Feb. 18, 1879, in Meyersdale. His parents were Henry and Margaret (Beal) Staub. He was married to Elizabeth Weller, who died in 1938. Surviving are three children - Mrs. John C. Seip, above mentioned, and Mrs. Bernice Horner and Karl Staub, both at home; a brother, Harry T. Staub, Meyersdale, and two grandchildren. Mr. Staub was a line maintenance foreman for the former Johnstown Telephone Company at Somerset, before joining the Pennsylvania Electric Company. Funeral services were conducted at the Hauger Funeral Home at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday by Rev. I. Hess Wagner, pastor of Old Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial in Husband Cemetery.
