Born March 4, 1912 in Listie, Somerset County, daughter of the late Charles Wesley Shaffer and Rosa Agnes Baer. Also preceded in death by husband, Karl Paul Staub, former general foreman for Penelec, retiring in 1969; and sister, Ruth Catherine Pritts. Survived by these children: Daughter, Patricia married to Dr. B. Hoagland Rosania, North Easton, Mass., James Allen Staub, married to the former Alina Camara, Aloha, Ore.; five grandchildren and one great grandson. A 1931 graduate of Somerset High School. Member of Holy Trinity Lutheran church of North Easton, Mass.; North Easton Golden Agers; former member of Trinity Chapter 138 O.E.S. charter and co-founder of the Rainbow Girls of Somerset. Graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Husband Cemetery, Somerset with the Rev. Clarence Moore officiating.
