  STAUFFER
  
  John M. Stauffer, 84, of Strongsville, Ohio, died May 25, 1976, in
  Southwest General Hospital, Cleveland, Ohio.  He was born June 22,
  1891, in Fayette County, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel
  Stauffer.  He was preceded in death by his first wife, the former
  Lenora Frazee; also by two brothers and a half-sister.  Survived by
  his wife, the former Verna Fisher Margroff; and these step-children:
  Mrs. Marjorie Bonnell of Strongsville, Ohio; Hobart Margroff of
  Markleysburg; 11 step-grandchildren; and 12 step-great-grandchildren;
  also by a sister-in-law, Mrs. Ruth Stauffer of Springdale.  A member
  of Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset Lodge No. 358, F & AM,
  Harrisburg Consistory, Jaffa temple, Somerset County Shrine Club.  He
  was a retired bookkeeper of Consolidation Coal Co.  Friends will be
  received from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday in the
  Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where services will be conducted
  Saturday at 10:30 a.m., the Rev. H. James Meyers officiating. 
  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
