  David Vernon St. Clair
  
  David Vernon St. Clair, 74, of Jenner Township, died Jan. 23, 2004,
  at his residence.  Born Feb. 24, 1929, in Jenner Township, he is the
  son of the late Dorsey L. and Stella Alda (Buechley) St. Clair.  Also
  preceded in death by sisters: Grace Randall, Esther Walker, Naomi St.
  Clair and Lois St. Clair; brothers: Donald Craig and Robert St. Clair.
  Survived by his wife, Dorothy (Wigstrom) St. Clair to whom he was
  married 53 years and daughter, Colleen and husband, Dr. Keith Knupp
  and grandchildren, Andrew and Jessica Knupp and great-granddaughter
  Mackenzie Grace; grandsons, Michael and fiancee Crystal and James
  Knupp all of Pleasant Hill, Ohio; son, Donald Vernon St. Clair and
  wife Edna and grandchildren Amy, Neil and Sarah of Stoystown; son,
  David Mark St. Clair of Friedens.  Also survived by brother Waldo St.
  Clair and wife Betty and Peggy Griffith who was a niece raised like a
  sister, and several other nieces and nephews.  Vernon was a well known
  farmer all of his life and had the ability to water witch and helped
  a lot of people in the county find wells.  He enjoyed his friends and
  family and life in general.  His main hobby was hunting with his
  buddies and grandchildren.  He was a member of the Mt. Laurel United
  Church of Christ and had served on the Beams Cemetery Board.  Friends
  received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Robert H.
  Halverson Funeral Home.  Service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the
  Mt. Laurel United Church of Christ, The Rev. Joseph Beer officiating.
  There will be viewing at the church from 1 p.m. until time of service.
  Interment Beams Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to the Mt. Laurel
  United Church of Christ or Beams Cemetery, 1209 Keyerstown Rd.,
  Boswell, Pa. 15531.
