  FRANCIS T. STECK SR.
  
  Francis T. Steck Sr., 73, Blacklick, formerly of Johnstown RD 4, died
  April 22, 1981, at home.  Born Feb. 11, 1908, in Honerhecker, Va., son
  of Raymond and Bessie Mae (Reese) Steck.  Preceded in death by
  parents; step-father Arthur Beam; first wife, the former Catherine
  Hershberger, who died Oct. 16, 1966; second wife, the former Beulah
  Sophie Larson, who died Sept. 6, 1976; one son, Ronald W., who died
  Sept. 5, 1954.  Survived by one son, Francis T. Jr., married to the
  former Ruby Benson, Boswell RD 1; two granddaughters, Robin, wife of
  James Saylor; and Lisha Lintz; three great-grandchildren, Bethany and
  Bradley Saylor, and Barry Steck Lintz.  Brother of Mrs. Vanessa Mason,
  St. Petersburg, Fla.; step-brother of Mrs. Catherine Georg,
  Jennerstown.  Retired employee of Car Shop, Johnstown Plant,
  Bethlehem Steel Corp.  Friends received from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at
  Hoffman Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny St., Boswell, where service will
  be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, the Rev. Jesse E. Wolfe officiating. 
  Interment, Custer Cemetery, Hollsopple.
