  Frances L. Steele, 80, of Westmoreland Manor, formerly of Berlin,
  died Dec. 3, 1986, at Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.  She was
  born Oct. 23, 1906, in Garrett, daughter of Joseph L. and Helen
  (Stack) Commotes Sr.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Robert
  A.; and two sisters.  Survived by son, Robert married to former
  Virginia Brown, Pittsburgh, and two grandchildren, Robby and Kelly
  Ann.  Also survived by brother, Joseph L. Commotes, Garrett.  Member
  of First Brethren Church, Berlin.  Friends will be received 2-4 and
  7-9 p.m. Friday (today) at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home where
  services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, the Rev. Ralph E. Mills
  officiating.  Interment, Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery.  In lieu of
  flowers, contributions in her memory to First Brethren Church,
  Berlin, or your favorite charity would be appreciated.
