Born June 18, 1926 in Bellwood. Son George Harrison and Stella Mae (Ross) Steele Sr. Preceded in death by parents, brothers, Walter and Harry Steele and Sister Lulu Mitchell, survived by wife the former Betty Lou Ries to whom he was married 42 years and these children: George Harrison Steele III of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; Mrs. Debra Turner, Fredericksburg, Va., and Walter William Steele of Boca Raton, Fla. Also nine grandchildren. Retired Management Systems Analyst for the U.S. Department on Navy. Navy veteran of World War II and Korean Conflict. Member of V.F.W. and American Legion Post 318 both of Port Lucie, Fla. No viewing or visitation. Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church Chapel, Somerset, Rev. Robert L. Hoover officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. Graveside Military Rites will be accorded by PA National Guard.
