  Beatrice E. Stein, 72, of Meyersdale died Feb. 22, 1984, in
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.  Born May 26, 1911, Meyersdale, a
  daughter of the late George E. and Nettie F. (Imler) Ickes.  Preceded
  in death by her husband, George H. Stein II.  Survived by two sons:
  Robert W. Ickes, Salisbury RD 1, and George H. Stein III, Washington,
  Pa.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister of: Paul
  of Mary Esther, Fla.; Clark, Johnstown; Ranson, Easton, Md.; Fred of
  Street, Md.; and Anna Burkholder of Confluence.  She was a member of
  St. John's Lutheran Church, Salisbury.  Friends will be received from
  2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where
  services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday, the Rev. David
  Fetter.  Interment, Union Cemetery.
