    Peter J. Stein, 74, Atrium Manor, formerly of Richland, died April
  19, 1993, at Lee Hospital.  Born Dec. 11, 1918 in Johnstown, son of
  Albert and Anna (Gallagher) Stein.  Preceded in death by parents;
  wife, the former Kathleen T. Kabor; and brother George.  Survived by
  these sisters: Agnes, wife of Arthur Messina, Somerset; Ethel, wife
  of Emmitt Riley, Johnstown; Rita Shaffer, Ohio; and Joan, wife of
  Ralph Turner, Johnstown; also survived by nieces and nephews.  Army
  veteran of World War II.  Retired yardmaster, Conemaugh and Black
  Lick Railroad.  Member of St. Benedict's Catholic Church, Geistown,
  Life member, Johnstown Council 467, Knights of Columbus.  Member of
  Post 849, Richland American Legion.  Mass of Christian burial will be
  celebrated 10 a.m. Friday at St. Benedict's Church, the Rev. Msgr.
  Joseph R. Kiniry.  Interment, Grandview Cemetery.  Friends will be
  received Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Harris Funeral Home, Scalp
  Avenue, Richland, where wake service will be held Thursday evening,
  K. of C. will recite Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
