He was born June 10, 1910 in Meyersdale, son of Frank and Ameila (Raymond) Steinkirchner. Preceded in death by parents; wife, the former Violet Mae (Barron) who died Dec. 20, 1988; son, Terry Blain Steinkirchner; 4 brothers, James, Lloyd, George and Russell Steinkirchner; 3 sisters: Lula and Marion Steinkirchner and Dorothy Fullman. Survived by daughter, Mrs. Dwaine (Leeanna) Martin, Listie; 5 grandchildren: Edward S. Steinkirchner, married to the former Cheryl Thompson of Listie; Scott A. Steinkirchner, married to the former Carol Yount of Leesburg, Va.; Mrs. David (Teya) Lopaze of Listie; Thurston T. Martin, married to the former Teresa Phillips of Somerset; Ms. Crystal A. Harbaugh of Listie; six great-grandchildren: Eric, Eddie and Angel Steinkirchner, Jozy Lopaze, Christine Martin and Korey Harbaugh. Brother of Mrs. Alvin (Eleanor) Williams of Somerset. Close friend and companion Mrs. Bea Hess of Johnstown. Member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. Former owner and operator of the Listie Economy Store. Member of American Legion Post 181 and Travelers Protective Association. Friends received 7-9 p.m. Sunday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where Wake Service will be held at 8:45 p.m. Monday. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Somerset, with the Monsignor Samuel J. Tomaselli, Celebrant. Interment Somerset County Memorial Park.
