Born July 9, 1936, in Listie. Son of Edward Thomas and Violet Mae (Barron) Steinkirchner. Preceded in death by mother, Violet Mae (Barron) Steinkirchner, who died Dec. 20, 1988. Survived by wife, Dorothy Ann Svonavec to whom he was married for 35 years; father, Edward Thomas "Ebby" Steinkirchner, Listie; children: Edward S. Steinkirchner, married to the former Cheryl Thompson, Listie; Scott A. Steinkirchner, married to the former Carol Yount, Virginia, and Teya Ann Steinkirchner, Listie; three grandchildren: Eric, Eddie and Angel Steinkirchner; sister, Mrs. Dwaine R. (Leeanna) Martin, Listie. Member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Somerset. 1954 graduate of Somerset High School. Army veteran serving during Berlin crisis. An avid model railroader. Owner of Listie Economy Store since 1972. Friends were received Monday evening at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. today (Tuesday) at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Somerset, with the Msgr. Samuel J. Tomaselli officiating. Interment, Listie Catholic Cemetery.
