  Steinkirchner, Vernon L.  09/20/05  Daily American
  
  Vernon L. Steinkirchner, 62, York, died Sept. 13, 2005, at York Hospital. Born
  April 20, 1943, in Somerset, the son of the late John and Mary Steinkirchner.
  He is the husband of Patricia A. (Painter) Steinkirchner, to whom he was
  married 34 years on Aug. 21. He was employed at a printing press operator at
  Duplex Products in Emigsville where he worked for more than 35 dedicated years,
  until his retirement in 2000. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
  In addition to his wife, Mr. Steinkirchner is survived by one son, Wayne (Bill)
  W. Moritz; two daughters, Melanie E. Quigley and Carla R. Reachard; eight
  grandchildren; and two brothers, Jack and Charles Steinkirchner, both of
  Somerset. Interment was held Sept. 16.
