  Violet M. Steinkirchner, 70, of Listie, died Dec. 20, 1988, Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born Jan. 3, 1918, in Middlecreek Twp., daughter
  of late Edward Lavan and Ella Catherine (Forespring) Barron; also
  preceded by brother Hiram Barron and sister, Ruth Barron.  Survived
  by husband Edward T. "Ebby" Steinkirchner and these children; Terry
  B., married to the former Dorothy Svonavec and Mrs. Dwaine R.
  (Leeanna) Martin, both of Listie and five grandchildren, sister of
  Mrs. Frank (Mabel) Friedline, Listie.  Member of St. Peter's Catholic
  Church, a Listie Fire Department Auxiliary member, retired co-owner of
  the Listie Economy Store.  Friends received 7-9 p.m. Wed., 2-4 p.m.
  and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home where Parish
  Wake Service will be held 8:45 p.m. Thursday, Mass of Christian Burial
  10 a.m., Friday in St. Peter's Catholic Church, Monsignor Samuel
  Tomaselli Celebrant.  Interment Somerset County Memorial Park.
