She was the wife of Frank Steinley, and a daughter of Charles and Effie Mankamyer, and was born in Larimer Township. Her age was 41 years, 1 month and 2 days. She is survived by her husband, her parents, and by these children: Beulah, wife of Elwood Schrock of Meyersdale; Irvin Ray, Freda, Lucille Dorthea, Eva, William, Glenn, Janice and Donald, all at home. She is also survived by one brother and three sisters, namely, Stanley Compton of Markleton; Mildred, wife of J. H. Eversone, Cumberland; Mrs. Millard Crosby, Confluence, and Madeline, wife of Doyle Bittner, Leonardtown, Md. Funeral services were conducted Sunday at 2:45 p.m., in the Greenville Lutheran Church, of which Mrs. Steinley was a member, by her pastor, Rev. S. D. Sigler. Interment was in the church cemetery under the direction of Stanley M. Thomas. Meyersdale Republican, September 30, 1943
