Preceded in death by his wife, the former Clara Clark; a daughter, Doris; and one grandson. Survived by six daughters: Mrs. Freda Swauger, and Mrs. Lucille Wildenmann, both of Friedens; Mrs. June Lohr, Elyria, Ohio; Mrs. Eva Keller, Olmstead Falls, Ohio; Mrs. Jan Franco, Warren, Ohio; and Mrs. Buelah Schrock, Meyersdale; six sons: Ervin, Morrisville, Pa.; Ray, Frostburg, Md.; William, Columbus, Ohio; Glenn, Southington, Ohio; Don, Rootstown, Ohio; and Harold, Bridgeville, Pa.; also, 37 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren. He was a retired farmer. Member of Messiah Lutheran Church of Newton Falls and Moose Lodge of Frostburg. Friends will be received Wednesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. David E. Fetter officiating.
