  Bessie Florence Stemmler, 82, Somerset, went to be with the Lord Feb. 13, 2005,
  at Somerset Hospital. Born Aug. 16, 1922, in Somerset County, a daughter of
  James Earl and Tillie Mae (Ogline) Sipe. Preceded in death by parents; husband,
  Rudolph Frank-Oscar Stemmler, who died Jan. 31, 1991; brothers, John, George and
  Morris Sipe and sister, Marian Shaulis. Survived by sisters, Mrs. Nancy Gastley,
  Mrs. Laura Mae Tressler, Mrs. Donald (Sara) Hauger, and Mr. Calvin Sipe and
  wife, Aseaneth, all of Somerset and sister-in-law, Mrs. Alice Sipe, Somerset;
  also numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Member of
  Trinity Lutheran Church, where she attended Bicota and Bible study. Also
  Keenagers and WDS at the Somerset Alliance Church. Also helped with Meals on
  Wheels, Somerset Food Pantry and was a member of RSVP for many years. Friends
  were received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral
  Home, Somerset. A service was Wednesday. The Rev. Linda J. McElroy and the Rev.
  James E. Vandervort officiating. Interment Beams Cemetery. Contributions may be
  made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 918 Tayman Ave., Somerset, PA 15501.
