Stemple, 69, Jeannette, died April 14, 1996, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born Oct. 12, 1926, in Jeannette, son of Iva Jane (Stough) Stemple of Jeannette and the late Harry Stemple. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by brother, Harry Stemple. In addition to his mother, survived by wife, Estelle (Colbert) Stemple; three sons: Ron Stemple and Tim Stemple, both of Jeanette, and Robin Stemple, of Shanksville; a sister, Mrs. Joseph (Iva Jane) Canale, Orange, Calif.; 6 grandchildren: Christopher and Erica Stemple, Jeanette; Nicole Stemple, Shanksville; Nicole Stemple, Shanksville; Stephanie Stemple of Jeannette; Jill and Ryan Stemple, Shanksville, and several nieces and nephews. Prior to his retirement, he was a pipe-fitter with General Tire in Jeannette. Member of Ascension Church, Jeannette, and its Holy Name Society. U.S. Navy World War II veteran and a member of the Frank Kalik Orchestra. Friends received in the John V. Graziano Funeral Home Inc., 228 North Second Street, Jeannette, from 7-9 p.m. Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Ascension Church. Entombment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park Mausoleum. The Holy Name Society will have a service at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
