  FRED STEPHENS
  
    Fred E. Stephens, 76, Meyersdale RD 3, died March 17, 1995 at
  Cumberland Memorial Hospital.  
    Born April 16, 1918 in Clearfield, Pa., he was the son of the late
  Samuel and Ella (Pearson) Stephens.
    He is survived by his widow, the former Ruth Shibni; two daughters:
  Nancy Wells of Willows Landing, N.C.; and Stephanie Sbray of Waverly,
  Ohio; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  
    Mr. Stephens was a retired master sergeant with the U.S. Marine
  Corps.
    Arrangements were in charge of Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale.
