   Paul A. Stephens, 79 of Meyersdale, died March 27, 2008 at his home.
   He was born June 20, 1928 in West Haven, CT, son of the late Alexander J. and Mary
  (Lange) Stephens. Also preceded in death by a son John Christopher Stephens; grandson
  Alexander Stephen Kirchner; sisters: Mabel Hornbake, Lillian Shumaker and Gloria Ritchey;
  and brother Alexander Stephens.
   He is survived by his wife Jean (Keister) Stephens, and these children: Paul A. Stephens
  Jr. and his wife Carol, Lilburn, GA; Grant M. Stephens and his wife Mary, Carlyle, IL;
  Rodger P. Stephens and his wife Vicki, Meyersdale; Katie, wife of K.T. Sisk, Front Royal,
  VA; Kim, wife of Bob Kirchner, Meyersdale; and Amy Hostetler, Meyersdale.
   Also survived by 16 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A brother of Katherine
  "Kate" Beal, Meyersdale. Paul will be sadly missed by special friends Tom Klis and Mary
  Weimer.
   He retired from the Pennsylvania Auditor Generals Department, was a former member of
  the Pennsylvania State House of Representatives, and was a former Somerset County
  Democratic Party Chairman.
   Friends were received at the Price Funeral Home Meyersdale. Funeral Mass was held at SS.
  Philip and James Catholic Church Meyersdale, with the Very Rev. James M. Dugan VF
  celebrant.
   Committal followed at SS. Philip and James Cemetery Meyersdale.
   Arrangements by the William Rowe Price Funeral Home, Inc., Meyersdale.

   Paul A. Stephens, 79, Meyersdale, died March 27, 2008, at his home. Born June 20, 1928,

  Dugan VF celebrant. Committal will follow at SS. Philip and James Cemetery, Meyersdale.
