  CLOYD RICHARD STERN
  
  Cloyd Richard Stern, 82, Pasadena, died Sept. 3 2004, in Pasadena.
  The cause of death was not available.  Born May 14, 1922, in
  Pennsylvania and lived in Pasadena for 62 years.  Preceded in death by
  parents, Rose and Dewey Stern; three brothers, George, Lloyd and Edgar
  Stern and one sister, Ann Rand.  Survivors include his wife of 62
  years, Dorothy (Spangler) Stern; one son, Frederick Stern, Glen
  Burnie; two daughters, Charlotte Porter, Glen Burnie and Bonnie Keil,
  Pasadena; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and three
  step great-grandchildren.  Mr. Stern retired from the U.S. Coast Guard
  Yard, where he was a welder foreman.  He formerly served in the Army
  and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.  Mr. Stern enjoyed
  traveling and spending time with family and friends.  Funeral services
  were held at Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home.  Interment was in Glen
  Haven Cemetery.
