   Jack Albert Stern, Glen Burnie, Md., died July 26, 2008. Jack was born in Stoystown,
  the son of Earl and Viola Stern. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Frances Stern;
  loving faÂther of Pam Wilson, Jeff Stern, Lori Stump and Lisa DeLauder; cherished
  grandfather of five and great-grandfather of eight; dear brother of Rose Miller and
  Frank, William, Herbert, Ernest and Marlin Stern. He was a maÂson by trade for 40 years.
  Jack served his country proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps as a corÂporal defending our
  country in the South Pacific Theater, most notably Iwo Jima. He was a member of the 
  American Legion and he enjoyed woodworking, landscaping, brick laying and spending time
  with his famÂily. Service will be held at the Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services,
