  Mrs. Kathryn L. Stern, 75, Somerset RD 6, died March 19, 1982, at
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Sept. 15, 1906, in Somerset
  Township, daughter of the late Charles H. and Sadie (Boomer)
  Baldwin.  Preceded in death by her husband Edd in 1968, and one
  sister, Minnie Hemminger.  Survived by one daughter, Mrs. Jerry
  (Joyce) Beam of Somerset RD 4; one grandson, Robert Beam; and two
  great-grandchildren.  A sister of Mrs. H. Palmer (Mary) Flick of
  Somerset RD 4.  Friends will be received 2 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the
  Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home where funeral service will be conducted
  2 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Roger Forry officiating.  Interment,
  Bakersville Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to make
  a contribution to the Laurel Highlands Heart Fund.  Memorials may be
  obtained at the funeral home.
