    Mary Catherine Stern, 89, Somerset, formerly of Gray, died Nov. 12, 2007, at The
  Patriot. Born Sept. 10, 1918, in Conemaugh Township, a daughter of Cloyd and Mary Ellen
  (Lehman) Speicher. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Charles William Stern; brother,
  Charles Speicher; and sisters, Jennie Kelly and Anna Snyder. Survived by these children,
  Larry Lee Stern, married to the former Barbara Greer, Clarkesville, Ga.; Charles D. Stern
  and Carol Ann Hancharik, both of Somerset; grandchildren, Janet Barley, Lisa Wise and
  Misty Wisler; and great-grandson, Tyler Wise. She attended Faith Christian and Missionary
  Alliance Church, Gray. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday
  at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where a service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday. The
  Rev. Dan Jones officiating. Interment, Beulah Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be
  given to Medi Home Hospice, 308 Haynes St., Johnstown, PA 15901.
