  CLARENCE STERNER
  
    Clarence (Ike) Sterner, 77, of Somerset RD 1, formerly of Rockwood,
  died Aug. 15, 1979, in Somerset.
    He was born April 1, 1902, in Rockwood, a son of Harrison and
  Ophelia (Miller) Sterner.  He is survived by two sons: Harold of
  Somerset RD 1 and Frank of Rockwood; one daughter, Mrs. Sheila Veltri
  of Berlin; 9 grandchildren; one brother, Dewey Sterner of Rockwood;
  one sister, Mrs. Effie Moyle of Rockwood.  He was preceded in death
  by his wife, Minnie (Trimpey) Sterner, Jan. 30, 1975.
    He was a member of the United Evangelical Church of Rockwood. 
  Friends were received in the William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood,
  where services were conducted Saturday with the Rev. Clarence C.
  Moore officiating.  Interment, Rockwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
