  STERNER
  
  Floyd Milburn Sterner, 74, of Rockwood RD 2, died Oct. 19, 1987,
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Feb. 17, 1913, in Black Township,
  a son of Russell L. and Sadie (Heckler) Sterner.  He is survived by
  numerous nieces and nephews and by his very close friend, Jim
  McClintock of Fort Hill.  He was a World War II veteran, serving in
  the United States Army with the Medical Corps.  He retired from the
  Rockwood Poultry Plant after many years of service.  He was a
  graduate of Rockwood High School Class of 1931, where he was class
  valedictorian.  Friends will be received in the William J. Wood
  Funeral Home, Rockwood, Tuesday 7-9 p.m. where services will be
  conducted Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Rex Wasser
  officiating.  Interment Rockwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery.  Arrangements are
  under the direction of the William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood,
  with Frances Brady supervising.
