Born August 30, 1934, in Jerome, Pa., a son of Florence June Sheets Stevanus, Meyersdale RD 1; and the late Samuel R. Stevanus. Survived by his widow, the former Ann Marie Rautio, and these children: Keith, U.S. Army, Fort Sill, Oklahoma; Rae Ann, Wayne, Brian, Connie all at home. He was a brother of Mrs. Ray (Marion) Klink, Sandusky, Ohio; Mrs. Ralph (Lois) Bowers, Amherst, Ohio; Samuel Stevanus, Jr., Salisbury. He was a member of the St. Paul's United Church of Christ (Wilhelm). He was a veteran of the Korean War, and a member of The American Legion, Somerset; VFW Somerset. He was an employee of Frank E. Cober and Son. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where services will be conducted Friday at 10 a.m. with the Rev.
