  STEVANUS
  
  John C. "Bun" Stevanus, 60, Rockwood RD 2, died Jan. 16, 1987, in his
  home.  Born Jan. 15, 1927, in Friedens, son of the late Gurney and Ida
  (Burkholder) Stevanus.  Survived by his mother of Berlin; wife, Elaine
  (Berkey) Stevanus of Rockwood RD 2; one son, John E., also of Rockwood
  RD 2; two brothers, Ray, Rockwood RD 3, and James of Rockwood; and
  three grandchildren.  Preceded in death by his father on May 9,
  1977.  His death terminates a marriage union of 43 years.  Member of
  the Somerset Eagles 1801, social member of the Rockwood American
  Legion Post 279, and a member of the Laurel Rocks Sportsmen's Club. 
  Friends will be received in the William J. Wood Funeral Home,
  Rockwood, from 7-9 p.m. Saturday and 9-9 p.m. Sunday where services
  will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Richard J. Yates
  officiating.  Interment to follow in the Union Cemetery, New
  Centerville.  Arrangements are under the direction of the William J.
  Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, with Francis Brady supervising.
