  JAMES W. STEVEN
  
    James W. Steven, 94, of Edgewater, Fla., a native of New Germany,
  Md., died Jan. 30, 1974, in the Ocean View Restorium, New Smyrna
  Beach, Fla.
    His wife, the former Missouri Bowman, preceded him in death.
    Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Violet Bittinger, Edgewater,
  with whom he resided; Mrs. Hilda Ridgway, Pennsboro, W.Va.; and Mrs.
  Ruth Alexander, Edgewater; two grandchildren, three
  great-grandchildren; a brother, Frank Steven, Westernport, Md.; and
  two sisters, Mrs. Ida Platter, Addison; and Mrs. Laura Glover,
  Friendsville.
    The body was returned to Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, where
  funeral service was held February 2 with Rev. Earl Haper
  officiating.  Interment in North Trinity United Church of Christ
  Cemetery.
