Born April 18, 1910, in Windber, daughter of the late Nicola and Tomasina (Chicarell) Stevens. Also preceded in death by brothers James, Sam and Angelo, and sister Angeline. Survived by sister-in-law, former Mary Yocca, widow of James, Windber, and nephew James Stevens, Towson, Md., and niece Marilyn McCormack, Pennington, N.J.; also special cousins Clara and Geno Stevens, and special friend Josephine Markferding, all of Windber. Chris was a longtime book-keeper for former Palumbo's Beveridge, Windber. Member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Windber, where funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday. TOR Franciscans. Commital church cemetery. Friends were received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., 1312 Graham Ave., Windber, where vigil for the deceased was held. Memorials may be made to St. Anthony's Church in Chris's memory.
