Stewart, 87, of Rockwood, passed away April 28, 2000, at home. Born Sept. 18, 1912, in Brookville, son of William and Emma (Zipfle) Stewart. Preceded in death by parents, first wife Marian, two sisters and one brother. Survived by wife Bernadene (Shultz) Stewart, and children: Deborah Stewart of McKeesport, Daniel Stewart, married to Beverly Younkin of Farmington N.M., Duane "Rusty" Stewart of Rockwood, and Stphanie [sic] Brant, married to Kenneth of Garrett; also grandchildren Chad and Tina Stewart, of Farmington N.M., and great-granddaughter Danielle Stewart. Brother of Ruth Auberle of State College, and John Stewart of North Huntingdon. Veteran of the U.S. Army and World War II, and a member of the Rockwood American Legion. Also a member of the Trinity Reformed Church in Rockwood. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Rev. Mark Bender officiating.
