  STEYER
  
    Hazel Bernice Steyer, 90, of Mill Run went to be with the Lord on
  June 1, 2000 while in the Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant.  She was born
  March 14, 1910 in Jamestown, N.D., a daughter of the late Charles and
  Mary Sanner Meyers.  In addition to her parents she was predeceased
  by her husband Ralph Vernon Steyer Jr., 1987, three brothers,
  Richard, Oscar and Eugene "Tute" Meyers and two sisters, Irene Meyers
  and Mable Brocker.  She is survived by a daughter, Agnes Marie Compton
  of Mill Run, two sons, David Keith Steyer of New Florence and Richard
  Gale Pyle of Charleston, S.C., and a daughter-in-law Shelby Steyer of
  Stahlstown.  Her grandchildren: Spencer Perry, Candace H. Compton,
  Shannon Compton, Sue Byrd, Brenda Calderone, Sandy Males, Stacey
  Knupp and four other grandchildren in South Carolina, and a sister
  Gladys "Nance" Henry of New Centerville.  Hazel was a former member
  of the Clay Run Christian and Missionary Alliance Church.  Friends
  will be received from 6-9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in the Clyde
  Brooke Funeral Home Inc.  Route 711 Melcroft.  A funeral service will
  be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home with Rev. Evelyn
  Stillwagon officiating.  A committal service and interment will
  follow in the Steyer Cemetery.
