    Mary M. Stiffey, 73, Boswell RD 2, died Aug. 29, 1990, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Feb. 9, 1917, in Somerset Township, daughter of
  Russell and Adeline (Hetzer) Lohr.  Preceded in death by parents;
  husband, Samuel, died 1956; daughter, Adeline Vinosky; sisters,
  Elizabeth Stiffey, Anna Sullivan, Gladys Tunstall; brothers, Charles,
  William and Clarence.  Survived by these children: Charles E., married
  to former Ila Yoder, Rockwood; Myrtle, widow of Harry Fieg, Boswell RD
  2; Rosella, wife of James Baker, Somerset RD 5; William Deaner,
  married to former Diana Knisely, Kingston, N.J.; 20 grandchildren and
  17 great-grandchildren.  Sister of Goldie Williamson, Rockwood RD 3;
  Elsie Tunstall, Somerset, and Carrie Tunstall, Meyersdale.  Attended
  various Somerset County churches during her lifetime.  Friends
  received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday
  at Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell, where service
  will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, with Rev. William O'Haver
  officiating.  Interment, St. John's Cemetery, Somerset.
