  STIFFLER
  
    John W. Stiffler, 63, Bedford RD 2, died unexpectedly February 26,
  1990, at home.
    He was born February 5, 1927, in Cresson, son of the late John H.
  and Rose Anna (Sigler) Stiffler.
    He was preceded in death by daughter, Sheila Rae, two brothers and
  one sister.
    He is survived by wife, former Flora Snyder, and these children:
  John W. Jr., Meyersdale; Kenneth E., married to former Karen L.
  Miller, New Paris RD 1; Pamala I., wife of Les Roberts, Knoxville,
  Tenn.; and Thomas R., married to former Kim Bisbing, Hyndman; and
  seven grandchildren.  He was a brother of Paul, Cresson; Mrs. Ruth
  Duncan, Bedford RD 7; and Mrs. Betty Lou Wertz, Ellicott City, Md.
    He was retired from Open Hearth Division, Johnstown Plant,
  Bethlehem Steel Corp.; Army veteran of World War II.
    Friends were received at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg,
  where service was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Charles Rhodes
  officiating.  Interment, Messiah Lutheran Cemetery.
