  STODDARD
  
  John Kenneth Stoddard, 75, of Somerset, died Aug. 28, 2001 at his
  residence.  Born Dec. 21, 1925 in Akron, Ohio, he is the son of the
  late Lyle H. and Lelia M. Stoddard.  Also preceded in death by a son,
  David and an infant daughter.  Survived by his wife, the former Hattie
  Conn, daughters, Mrs. Michael (Karen) Miller of Akron, Ohio and Janet
  Roth of Jacksonville, Fla., sisters, Mrs. James (Claranell) Masters
  of Tallmadge, Ohio, four grandchildren, niece, Cindy Masters, nephew,
  Tom Masters and wife Connie, uncle, Horace Stoddard and wife Charlotte
  of Northeast, Pa. and several cousins.  Member of Somerset Church of
  the Nazarene, U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II, life member of
  Somerset VFW Post 554, Eagles Aeries 1801, U.M.W.A.  Retired heavy
  equipment operator for Federoff and Morman Coal Companies.  Friends
  received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Robert H. Halverson
  Funeral Home where service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday with Rev.
  John Buchko officiating.  Interment, Rockwood Cemetery.
