Stoltzfus, 69, Salco Road, Berlin, died the evening of Oct. 6, 2005, at home. Born July 7, 1936, in Morgantown, Pa., son of Naaman and Mary B. (Weaver) Stoltzfus. Preceded in death by parents, grandson Hunter and brother James. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who is survived by his wife of 43 years, the former Mary Jane Stoltzfus; sons, Donald, married to the former Joanne Kunkel; Glenn, married to the former Gail Raser; Dwight, married to the former Melanie Balmer; and Duane, married to the former Andrea York, all of Berlin; and eight granddaughters and a grandson. Also survived by brothers: Elvin, married to the former Maryalice McHenry, Bryn Mawr; Andrew, married to the former Lucille Mack, Morgantown; and Naaman, married to the former Dorothy Bennett, Paradise; and sisters, Lillian, married to Harvey Z. Stoltzfus, Morgantown; Marelle, married to Jon Groteluschen, Aiken, S.C.; Ethel, married to Gerald Shank, Bangladesh; Charity Tournay, Phoenix; and Rose, married to Dr. Robert Graber, Kirksville, Mo. Mr. Stoltzfus was a dairy farmer and breeder of quality registered Holsteins, a long time dairy 4-H leader, and served on numerous farm organizations. He was an active member of the national, Pennsylvania, and local Holstein Associations, and he was inducted into the Pa. Holstein Association Hall of Fame in 1995. He was a lifelong member of Conestoga Mennonite Church, Morgantown, where he served on the cemetery committee for many years. Family will receive friends from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, and from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Monday at Conestoga Mennonite Church, Morgantown, where a service will be held at 3 p.m. The Pastor Alvin Horning and the Pastor Don Hamsher officiating. Interment church cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to Pa. Holstein Association Youth Scholarship Fund, 839 Benner Pike, State College, PA 16801, or Mennonite Central Committee, Akron, PA 17501.
