F. Stone, died at her home in Sand Patch last Thursday morning, February 6th at the age of 65 years, 10 months and 22 days. Mrs. Stone was born in Germany and was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Deist. Her husband was a well known Baltimore & Ohio R.R. telegrapher. He was the first operator stationed at Sand Patch tunnel and remained there until his death five or six years ago. Mrs. Stone is survived by one sister, two brothers and the following children: Mrs. Charles Brown, R. H. Stone, and Mrs. Joe Baker, Jerome; Mrs. Earl Hutzell, Holsopple; Mrs. Emma Karchner, Mrs. Patrick Kelly and W. F. Stone, Sand Patch. Four children preceded her to the grave. Funeral services were conducted at the home by Rev. J. E. Gindlesperger. Interment in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. Undertaker W. C. Price was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
