  MARGARET J. STONE
  
    Mrs. Margaret J. Stone, 75, of Meyersdale RD 4, died Dec. 4, 1977,
  at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.  She was born Jan. 5, 1902,
  at Meyersdale RD 4, a daughter of the late John and Virginia
  (Reynolds) Habel.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, William.
    She is survived by these children: Max, Berlin RD 3; Mrs. Kathleen
  Miller, Meyersdale RD 1; Wayne and Mrs. Joanne Berkley, both of
  Meyersdale RD 4; also 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  She
  was a sister of: Mrs. Rebecca Hodgson, Willoughby, Ohio; and Mrs.
  Elizabeth Byers, Meyersdale.  She resided with her sister-in-law,
  Mrs. Emma Karcher.
    She owned and operated Stone's Service Station and Store since
  1938, and she was a former owner of Stone's Tavern, both at
  Meyersdale RD 4.
    Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at the Price Funeral
  Home with Rev. Lloyd Trout officiating.  Interment, White Oak
  Cemetery.
    The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of
  contributions to Meyersdale Public Library or Children's Aid Society
  of Somerset County.
