Born May 3, 1930, in Meyersdale, she is the daughter of the late Clarence C. and Mary Leona (Knepp) Christner. She is preceded in death by her long time companion Don Finzel; and three brothers, Lewis, Eugene and Lester Christner. Surviving is her son Rex Stone and wife Sandra, Meyersdale; a daughter Sherri Stone, Frostburg, Md.; two grandchildren Jaime (Stone) Lohr and husband Mark and Christopher Stone. Ms. Stone was a member of the Salisbury V.F.W. Auxiliary and was a member of White Oak Lutheran Church. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Newman Funeral Home, Inc., 9168 Mason-Dixon Highway, Salisbury. A service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. David E. Fetter officiating. Interment will be in White Oak Cemetery.
