Stoner, 99, Somerset, died Oct. 22, 2007, at Somerset Hospital. Born March 16, 1908, in Jenner Township, she is the daughter of the late Frank K. and Nettie Stella (Bittner) Trexel. Also preceded in death by her husband Richard Dudley Stoner, a son, Robert M. "Mac" Stoner; brother, Fred K. Trexel; and a sister, Ethel Eash. Survived by daughter, Joan Nunnari, Somerset; grandchildren, Jill Carom and husband, Nathan, Janeen, Jeff and Lisa Andrews. Also a sister, Ferne L. McVicker, Jennerstown. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, Somerset, and enjoyed cooking, making candy, working in her garden and raising many vegetables and also liked to keep bees and sold honey. She was employed as a bookkeeper for Herb Sann's Chevrolet Garage in Boswell. A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Nov. 11 in the Kingdom Hall, Somerset, with memorial service discourse given by Don Cortese. Interment in the St. James Cemetery will be private.
