  Janet Stoner, 50, of Rockwood, died March 17, 1977 in Allegheny
  General Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born April 1, 1926, a daughter of
  Ernest and Goldie Fullerton Nightengale.  Survived by her father of
  Garrett; husband John W. of Rockwood; one son, John W. Jr. of
  Somerset RD 5; two daughters, Miss Nancy at home and Mrs. Randy
  (Sandra) Spoerlein of Rockwood; two brothers, William of Garrett,
  Scott of Somerset; one sister, Mrs. John (Dorothy) Ravenscroft,
  Meyersdale RD 4; two grandchildren.  She was a member of the United
  Church of Christ of Rockwood.  Friends will be received in the
  William J. Wood Funeral Home from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and 2-4 and
  7-9 p.m. Saturday where services will be conducted Sunday at 2:30
  p.m., Rev. Jack M. Hazlett and the Rev. Clarence C. Moore
  officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
